With eight years of experience in the drag industry, Dené embodies the perfect blend of elegance, strength, and authenticity that defines the essence of drag excellence.
Having once been the face of “People Like Us”, Dené has long championed visibility, empowerment, and self-expression within the community. Their passion for cultivating new talent and providing safe, uplifting spaces for performers has been the driving force behind Drag Superstar’s creation and success.
Guided by the belief that “Do what you love & Love what you do,” Dené continues to pave the way for the next generation of drag artists nurturing creativity, confidence, and pride with every performance, every stage, and every crown.
Donald Watson
Venue Liason
Donald Watson,manager of ETC Centurion, brings rhythm, energy, and heart to the pageant. A celebrated DJ with twelve years of experience in the entertainment industry, Donald has mastered the art of creating atmosphere blending sound, emotion, and passion to elevate every Drag Superstar experience.
Guided by his belief that “You should be yourself no matter what,” Donald inspires others to embrace their truth proving that genuine passion and love are the ultimate foundations of success.
Jasmine combines elegance and humor in her performances, winning over fans with her charismatic charm and dazzling costumes.
Celene Coxs
Organiser / Judge
Celene Coxs is the dynamic organizer behind Drag Superstar, whose dedication and precision help transform vision into reality. Since starting drag in November 2018, Celene has become an integral part of the Drag Superstar legacy known for her exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence. She was 1st Runner-up at the 2023 ETC Lip-sync Battle, and 2nd Runner-up at the Mr and Miss Pretoria Pride Pageant in 2021
As the trusted right hand of Director Dené Melrouché, Celene plays a pivotal role in planning, coordination, and securing sponsorship opportunities that elevate the pageant’s prestige and glamour. Her professionalism and passion ensure that every detail reflects the luxurious standard and artistry that define Drag Superstar.
