Drag Superstar goes national!
What began in Pretoria is now expanding across South Africa, searching for fierce talent ready to rise on a national stage. Auditions are officially open as we travel to Pretoria (11 March), Johannesburg (13 May), KwaZulu-Natal (15 July), and Cape Town (16 September) in search of the next finalists to compete for national glory.
This is a celebration of undeniable charisma, unapologetic drag excellence, and the journey toward becoming South Africa’s next Drag Superstar.
Pretoria, are you ready?
It all begins where it started. Drag Superstar returns to our inaugural city, Pretoria, where the search begins for the next finalists to rise toward national glory. Auditions are officially open, welcoming fierce talent, undeniable charisma, and unapologetic drag excellence. The stage lights up on 11 March, this is where the journey begins!

Drag Superstar brings the heat to KwaZulu-Natal, where energy, culture, and fearless expression shine louder than ever. The search begins for the next finalists ready to represent KZN on the road to national glory. Auditions are officially open, welcoming fierce talent, undeniable charisma, and unapologetic drag excellence. The stage lights up on 15 July, this is where the journey ignites.

Cape Town, are you ready?
Drag Superstar arrives in the Mother City, where elevated artistry, innovation, and iconic drag take centre stage. We’re searching for the next finalists to emerge from Cape Town and rise toward national glory. Auditions are officially open, welcoming fierce talent, undeniable charisma, and unapologetic drag excellence. The stage lights up on 16 September, this is where legends begin to form.
